The combination of field experience and knowledge of the wind flow pattern, terrain, and grid etc., backed by the latest GIS, GPS Survey techniques and use of latest satellite images enable the successful identification of the good windy sites.

The Wind monitoring masts 80-125 Meters are installed with required sensors for recording accurate data related to wind and weather. The mast is equipped with Automatic Data Logging System. The measurements are carried out at different levels for assessing the horizontal as well as vertical wind profile. Our towers are designed and erected according to international codes. i.e. ASTM CODE: TIA/EIA/222F and on IEC-Standards.

Wind Resource Mapping is critical for a given site to decide the optimized placement of turbines resulting in maximum wind farm output.

The selection of turbine will be on the basis of the data acquired from specific site and with all other inputs like construction of roads, grid, operation and maintenance etc. the financial pre-feasibility is prepared.

After selection of turbines and grid the details about the local grid, its compatibility issues and evacuation of power issues will be designed and submitted for approval to NTDC. On the same time the logistics and erection issues will also be taken care off. All the technical details shall be diligently worked out and wetted by international experts.

Various approvals are required from many departments and signing of legal and contract documents between government of Pakistan and client for bulk sale purchase of power. Wind Rose Consultancy has the expertise of making and submitting of these documents to the following department:
